Today my first shipment to Berlin!!! The brooches will be sold in the museum shop of the German Historical Museum in Berlin. The Museum has two shops. The one in the Exhibition Hall was designed by the Chinese-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei. The other is in the old building. I wish my parcel good luck!!!
Last week I received a large pile of “Berlin Brooch Parts”. A failure in the production process. The pile of parts on my desk looked miserable. Think about Berlin in 1945. I discussed what went wrong, invented a solution and went back to work. Sanding, polishing and solder. Hard work, but the results are promissing. “Rebuilding Berlin”!
